En Beat is an elite dance academy that has the courses designed to suit individual needs – be it commercial, street, K-Pop, vocal and even modelling.
We offer classes from beginners to advanced and for casual to professional dancers. Our range of classes cover all the dance essentials:
- Choreography / Performance
- Technique / Fundamentals
- Freestyle / Improvisational Skills / Creativity
Taught by only the elite and qualified teachers from New Zealand with frequent guest workshops from overseas teachers, En Beat is an academy of its own kind that prides itself in quality teaching, safe environment, and in growing dancers to their full potential.
What makes En Beat different is our emphasis on building dancers with a solid dance foundation. This allows our dancers to develop a strong understanding of their chosen dance style along with it’s history and culture. This in turn builds strong dancers that can do so much more than just hit a choreography!
Because of this, it is compulsory for all of our dancers under 18 to do a Hip Hop Grooves class as their foundational class, other foundational styles are encouraged. It is strongly recommended that those over 18 also do at least 1 foundational style.

Train at En Beat to be the next K-pop Idol/Dancer. Classes divide into: 5 – 6yrs, 7 – 9yrs, 10 – 14yrs & 15+.
Opportunity for Elite K-pop classes are available for age groups of 10 – 14yrs & 15+ (or younger with exceptional skills.) To join Elite groups, audition is essential (Please email with interest by filling out the registration form – last page – and audition info will be sent out once the date is set.)

Based on the techniques of Hip Hop dance mixed with modern vibes and flow, choreography is what you see in Music Videos, Dance Videos & Competitions.
It is compulsory for all En Beat students 18 and under doing a choreography class, to do AT LEAST 1 FOUNDATIONAL CLASS. Over 18’s are strongly encouraged to do at least 1 foundational class.

Commercial dance form, combining Jazz lines & technique with Hip Hop foundations. Class will start with stretches and technique exercises prior to learning a routine/combination.
Characteristics of Jazz Funk dances are usually sharp, visible lines and shapes with clean technique.

Heels class is exactly what it sounds like – dancing in heels!
In this class you will learn the correct technique of dancing in heels through warm up and across the floor drills, followed by choreography.
At En Beat we offer Open and Beginner Heels classes

Vocal classes are compulsory for Kpop dancers and are much recommended for students in general – Many dancers get exposed to various audition and performance opportunities, and it is important students grow skills in expressing their talent vocally and physically.

Many dancers get exposed to various audition and performance opportunities, and it is important students grow skills in expressing their talent in various areas, including modelling.
Night time themed jams – this is where you will really test your skills! Train, lab, cypher, battle! Or just come enjoy good music and dancing. Under 16yrs need parental approval. $5 per jam – except for those with Unlimited classes pass or Mentorship students.

En Beat Mentorship
En Beat Mentorship Program is about solidifying the understanding and practices of Street and Commercial dance – including but not limited to various styles of Street Style Foundations, Heels, Choreography, and Self Presentation for screen & stage.
This program is to find ‘You’ as an artist and grow the essence within each individual.
